About South Coast RC Club

SCRC was founded in early 2008 and is a purpose built 1/8th and 1/10th offroad 'astroturf' outdoor track.

 

The club is located in the area of Ashley Heath car boot sale, near Bournemouth and Poole.

The club is run by 15 committee members throughout the year. It was a slow start to get the club up and running, but over the years from 2008 to present the club has grown and got stronger every year with new members wanting to join the sport, much better facilities, all new rostrum catering for 12-14 racers, toilet on site and car parking.

 

In 2015 the track underwent major renovation work to transform it into what is there today and is now one of the best astro tracks in the country. The track is now also fully floodlight for racing after dark.

Anyone can use the track whether you are a novice or pro. Timing gear is available to hire so anyone who wants to can have a go at racing.

 

We specialise in outdoor racing 1/10th Electric buggy's and 1/8th Nitro and Electric buggy's / truggies, though we are happy to let anyone have a go with whatever model they bring on practice days.(Strictly NO 1/5th).

 

Our aim is to provide a friendly, fun and safe environment to enjoy the sport of Model Car Racing for all ages.
