Race Report - Summer Nights Rd2

Firstly thank you to all who came down to race, superb turnout. The racing was made all the more enjoyable as we were basking in beautiful warm sunshine all evening. Would have been rude to not to have a BBQ, so we did. Excellent burgers and bangers, thanks Jeff and Gary for cooking up a storm.

The warm weather of course meant the track had plenty of grip however due to it being an evening race we did have to contend with the setting sun causing visibility issues at some points on the track!

To make things more interesting several of the traditional 'eco' boys switched to nitro for the race, specifically Jeff Humby, Gary Newman and Rob Woodrow, hoping to dispel the 'you're only quick because you drive electric' myth!! All of them were on the pace and with some setup tweaks I think we can put that nonsense to bed!

Once again thank you for coming to support us, brilliant evening of buggy's, banter, beer and burgers!
